This one’s a bit clever.
Bonny is a crossbody bag made using upcycled denim and rescued tan leather, making use of the smaller offcuts from other bags, that would usually be left behind. Instead of going to waste, they’ve been turned into something genuinely striking, with a mix of textures that gives the bag a bit more character.
Part of the RECLAIMED | The Denim Edit, it leans into that relaxed, easy denim feel, but still keeps things practical. Lightweight, comfortable, and just the right size for your everyday essentials without feeling bulky.
The zip closure keeps everything secure, and inside you’ve got a zip pocket plus the signature Lilly & Jude integrated purse, which holds your cards, cash and coins. It means you can skip carrying a separate wallet and keep everything in one place, which is especially handy when you’re out and about.
The fabulously busy lining contasts the denim and leather mix, adding a pop of colour and pattern without overwhelming the overall look. It’s one of those details that just makes the bag feel a bit more considered.
Style-wise, Bonny is easy to wear. It works with denim (obviously), neutrals, casual layers, and everyday outfits where you want something practical that still looks put together. The adjustable woven strap means you can wear it comfortably across the body or on the shoulder.
And because this piece makes use of smaller leather and denim offcuts, it’s about as close as you can get to using every last bit of material, making it the ultimate in 'sustainable fasion'.

This is a really beautiful bag. The leather is beautiful, it is so soft and it the bag is really well made. I love the classic shape with the modern twist clasp. The little touches like the beautiful interior lining, and the handy card slots and zipped interior pocket make it so special but also practical. I also got some free gifts with this bag - a really handy bag hook and a lovely little pack containing tissues, an emery board, a tiny sewing kit and a plaster (I think). I used the bag hook when I took the bag for its first outing on Thursday night and it was so handy as it was a wet evening so I didn't want to put the bag o the floor, even though it has little feet to protect it.
Thank you for the thoughtful extra touches and the lovely note that was in the box. I'm very pleased with my purchases.
