Description
Dark grey is one of those colours that does more work than it gets credit for. Softer than black, still goes with pretty much everything, and Lyra wears it in a proper distressed leather that's got exactly the right amount of slouch, soft enough to fall into shape rather than hold one.
She's a one strap kind of bag, over the shoulder and that's that, the strap comes off if you fancy switching it out to something else down the line. Inside, a leather trimmed slip pocket keeps things flat and findable, a zip pocket with a hot pink zip adds a bit of unexpected fun for the smaller stuff, and tucked away is the signature integrated purse, room for two cards, your cash and change, all in one place.
Open her up and there's a purple lining covered in comic style dot roses, properly playful against all that grey outside.
This is a genuine capsule wardrobe neutral, easy to reach for most days. Pair her with a waisted chocolate knit and straight leg jeans for that cosy, grounded look everyone's leaning into this season, or go tailored with wide leg trousers and boots when you want something a bit sharper. Either way, the grey just gets on with it, never fighting whatever you've put on.
She started life as a discarded bunch of scrap leather, offcuts that would otherwise have gone to waste, now reborn as a bag that'll only get softer and more sumptuous the more you use her, proof that something written off can still turn out rather beautiful.

Gorgeous bag!
This is a really beautiful bag. The leather is beautiful, it is so soft and it the bag is really well made. I love the classic shape with the modern twist clasp. The little touches like the beautiful interior lining, and the handy card slots and zipped interior pocket make it so special but also practical. I also got some free gifts with this bag - a really handy bag hook and a lovely little pack containing tissues, an emery board, a tiny sewing kit and a plaster (I think). I used the bag hook when I took the bag for its first outing on Thursday night and it was so handy as it was a wet evening so I didn't want to put the bag o the floor, even though it has little feet to protect it.
Thank you for the thoughtful extra touches and the lovely note that was in the box. I'm very pleased with my purchases.
