Description
Elise is the bag for the days you need to actually fit things in. Decent sized to start with, soft dappled whiskey brown leather that's slouchy rather than structured, and then there's the bit that makes her properly clever - a zip running round the side that opens out into an expandable base when you need the extra room. Packed lunch, gym kit, a change of plans, she'll take it.
The double strand shoulder strap comes off if you fancy swapping to a different strap, and the main zip keeps everything secure whichever way you're wearing her. Outside there's a zip pocket generous enough for even the biggest phone, no more wedging it in somewhere it doesn't quite fit, and inside you've got two slip and zip pockets, so the small stuff doesn't end up loose at the bottom.
Open her up and a mustard yellow paisley lining brightens the whole thing up, a proper contrast against all that brown.
She's an easy one to wear into autumn. Try her with wide leg trousers and a waisted chocolate brown knit, a combination that's everywhere this season, or go for a check midi skirt with a brushed jumper and boots for something a bit more heritage. Either way, the mustard lining peeking out as you open her up does a surprising amount of work tying an outfit together. Genuinely a year round bag, she just comes into her own properly once the weather and the leaves turn.
Made from rescued whiskey brown leather, saved from heading to landfill and given a proper second life instead.

Gorgeous bag!
This is a really beautiful bag. The leather is beautiful, it is so soft and it the bag is really well made. I love the classic shape with the modern twist clasp. The little touches like the beautiful interior lining, and the handy card slots and zipped interior pocket make it so special but also practical. I also got some free gifts with this bag - a really handy bag hook and a lovely little pack containing tissues, an emery board, a tiny sewing kit and a plaster (I think). I used the bag hook when I took the bag for its first outing on Thursday night and it was so handy as it was a wet evening so I didn't want to put the bag o the floor, even though it has little feet to protect it.
Thank you for the thoughtful extra touches and the lovely note that was in the box. I'm very pleased with my purchases.
