Butter yellow's had a proper moment the last couple of years, and it's not showing signs of going anywhere. Shelly's the reason to finally get on board. Soft, warm, easy to wear with almost everything, and just different enough from your usual black or tan.
She's not fussy about how you wear her either. Sling her across your body for festivals or a day out where you need your hands free, wear her as a bum bag when you're moving fast and don't want anything swinging about, or keep it simple and crossbody for everyday. The woven strap's adjustable and comes off entirely if you fancy carrying her a different way altogether.
Small but sorted. A front pocket keeps your pass or keys within reach without opening the whole bag, and tucked inside is a proper leather purse built in, room for a card, some cash and your loose change. No separate purse needed, which matters more than it sounds like it should when you're trying to travel light.
Open her up and there's a green paisley lining that catches you off guard in a good way, silver hardware keeps things sharp, and the zip's got two pulls so you can get in from whichever side is easiest.
Butter yellow works brilliantly through summer against linen and white, but don't put her away come autumn. She sits just as well against denim and a chunky jumper, one of those colours that quietly earns her place in a capsule wardrobe rather than shouting about it. Good for festivals, travel, days out, or just Tuesday.
The leather's rescued rather than new, given a second life instead of ending up as waste. Not the reason to buy her, but a nice bit of context all the same.

This is a really beautiful bag. The leather is beautiful, it is so soft and it the bag is really well made. I love the classic shape with the modern twist clasp. The little touches like the beautiful interior lining, and the handy card slots and zipped interior pocket make it so special but also practical. I also got some free gifts with this bag - a really handy bag hook and a lovely little pack containing tissues, an emery board, a tiny sewing kit and a plaster (I think). I used the bag hook when I took the bag for its first outing on Thursday night and it was so handy as it was a wet evening so I didn't want to put the bag o the floor, even though it has little feet to protect it.
Thank you for the thoughtful extra touches and the lovely note that was in the box. I'm very pleased with my purchases.
