Description
Shelly is the bag for people who've got places to be and absolutely no patience for rooting around in a handbag. She sits where you put her, keeps your hands completely free, and goes with far more outfits than you'd expect from a tan leather bum bag.
Wear her across the body for a casual crossbody look. Clip her round your waist as a belt bag for festivals and days out. Sling her over one shoulder when the mood takes you. Three completely different looks, one bag. She's good at her job.
The front zip pocket is exactly the right size for the stuff you actually need on you: earbuds, car key, bank card, travel pass, a couple of coins, a piece of gum. (You know the stuff. The stuff you're always scrambling for at the bottom of a bigger bag.) The main compartment handles everything else, and the green paisley lining is the kind of nice surprise you get every time you open her up.
Shelly was made for summer. She goes with linen wide-leg trousers and a simple white tee worn as a belt bag, a floaty midi dress with her slung crossbody, denim shorts and a striped top with her worn on the hip. Tan leather is one of those shades that plays well with almost every summer colour, from terracotta and rust to sage green, cream, and navy. She's casual without being scruffy, and practical without being boring.
Shelly is made from tannery offcuts and leather scraps that would otherwise have gone straight to landfill. Ethically made in the UK, in small batches, from materials the industry had already written off. The green paisley lining is deadstock fabric. Every single one is completely different, because that's what happens when you make things properly.

Gorgeous bag!
This is a really beautiful bag. The leather is beautiful, it is so soft and it the bag is really well made. I love the classic shape with the modern twist clasp. The little touches like the beautiful interior lining, and the handy card slots and zipped interior pocket make it so special but also practical. I also got some free gifts with this bag - a really handy bag hook and a lovely little pack containing tissues, an emery board, a tiny sewing kit and a plaster (I think). I used the bag hook when I took the bag for its first outing on Thursday night and it was so handy as it was a wet evening so I didn't want to put the bag o the floor, even though it has little feet to protect it.
Thank you for the thoughtful extra touches and the lovely note that was in the box. I'm very pleased with my purchases.
