Description
Not quite khaki, not quite sage - somewhere in between, and better for it. The Toni Tote comes in a light olive green that's part of my new Riviera collection, and it's one of those colours that just works, whatever you're wearing it with.
She's small but properly useful. A zip closure keeps everything where you left it, there's a zip pocket inside for the bits you don't want sliding about, and then there's the bit I'm most pleased with - a built in leather purse with space for cards, cash and coins. No separate purse rattling around at the bottom of your bag, no digging about at the till. Everything lives in one place.
The silver hardware keeps things clean against the olive, and inside you'll find a floral lining in muted tones that's a lovely surprise every time you open it up. It's a proper grab and go size for a day out, but with enough structure to hold its shape.
Muted greens like this one have had a moment through spring and summer, and they're not going anywhere for autumn either - a soft olive sits just as well against denim and a jumper as it does against linen. Pair it with jeans and trainers for everyday, or let it do the quiet work against a plain shirt and trousers when you want something a bit more put together.
The leather is rescued rather than new, which isn't the main reason to buy her, just a nice bit of context. Beautiful material that would otherwise have gone to waste, made into something you'll actually use.

Gorgeous bag!
This is a really beautiful bag. The leather is beautiful, it is so soft and it the bag is really well made. I love the classic shape with the modern twist clasp. The little touches like the beautiful interior lining, and the handy card slots and zipped interior pocket make it so special but also practical. I also got some free gifts with this bag - a really handy bag hook and a lovely little pack containing tissues, an emery board, a tiny sewing kit and a plaster (I think). I used the bag hook when I took the bag for its first outing on Thursday night and it was so handy as it was a wet evening so I didn't want to put the bag o the floor, even though it has little feet to protect it.
Thank you for the thoughtful extra touches and the lovely note that was in the box. I'm very pleased with my purchases.
